Mona.exe – System Relevance
A Digital Reflection on Our Present

The series Mona.exe – System Relevance” begins with the work “System Error”, launching a provocative dialogue on identity, technology, and societal dynamics. The iconic Mona Lisa appears as a digitally reconstructed figure – a hybrid between a Renaissance icon and a pop culture avatar: with a wide smile, gold tooth, nose piercing, and a white monkey in her arms, grinning mischievously. Her presence remains constant in every piece, symbolizing timelessness and collective identity in a rapidly changing world.
The background unfolds into a surreal, almost absurd panorama: a Space Shuttle lifts off – a symbol of progress and escapism. Protesters hold up “SYSTEM ERROR” signs – expressing dissent against loss of control, technological overload, and societal crises. An apple tree with artificially glowing fruit evokes the biblical paradise, reimagined as a genetically modified symbol of temptation, knowledge, and a synthetic future.
“System Error” is not a mere dystopia, but a visual paradox: beauty meets madness, technology meets tradition, reality meets simulation. This first work sets the stage for the series and poses a central question: *When everything around us collapses – will only the smile of a digital muse remain?*

The series includes 25 limited digital variations, released gradually on the Ethereum blockchain. The opening piece is available as a Free Mint, directly from the artist. Collectors will also have the opportunity to burn selected works in exchange for exclusive, limited physical prints.
